Question 1. - Is there a fee to join FFP? How much does it cost to join?
Answer. - At this time the entire site and all our options are free to everyone!

Question 2. - Are you guys new, I've never heard of you before?
Answer. - My name is Andy and I am the new administrator here at FFP. I live in Los Angeles, California. I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible over the next few months. I will try to attend as many local events as I possibly can!

Question 3. - What are FFP VIP's??
Answer. - Great question. FFP Vip's is seeded with many many people that have stuck by us from the very beginning and even contributed $$ and time to ensure we made it to this point. They are also anyone who have either devoted or devotes a unselfish effort to the success of FFP just because they are good people. They are also the movers and shakers of the lifestyle that have become involved with FFP and do what they can to help in any way they see fit. We want to let everyone know that we appreciate everything that they do and are continueing to do both for FFP and the lifestyle. THANK YOU!

Question 4. - I got here by typing in another .com name.. why?
Answer. - You can also get here from www.friendsatplay.com www.swingersforplay.com Lisa and I have dreamed of opening a lifestyle site for years and these are a few of the many many domain names that we own. We simply pointed the above names to this site in hopes that it will help others to find us.

Question 5. - I've tried to upload pictures to my profile but it's not working. How come?
Answer. - There could be many reasons why this might happen. First we recommend the latest version of Internet Explorer. Newer versions of AOL have been reported to work with the upload feature also. We cant vouch for any other browsers and thier compatibility with the our upload feature. We recommend you resize your images to no more than 100K in size. This will allow for a good size image and faster upload and display speed. If your looking for a good and fast program to edit your photo, visit the forums and ask. I am sure many people have different ideas on which program to use and they all have great features.

Question 6. - the forums are GREAT! however, they seem so confusing. So may topics and threads, where do you start?
Answer. - You have discovered a very valuable asset to the lifestyle! Our forums are what started this site and are there with the policy of a free exchange of thoughtfull and honest discussions amung consenting adults. Once you visit the forums please visit the announcements and the intruductions threads. Go ahead and introduce yourself, you'll be surprised at the responce you will get. If your friendly and respectfull you'll be treated the same. Take some time and study the format, it's simple once you get the hang of it. There are three main sections. The top section is the announcement area. this is where site specific information is placed and introductions are made. Next you will notice an area called FRIENDS FOR PLAY - Swingers / lifestyle Topics - SRO This area is set up for lifestyle specific topics. SRO means Serious Responses Only and is loosely enforced. Next is an area called SWING CITY - A Postwhore area, all are welcome This area is basically a free for all discussion area. It's layed out like a city. topics are based on what you would normally talk about at any givin place. Town Hall for example is a good place for politics and contriversial discussions whereas Muffy and Irishes Coffee Shop isn't. The next sections are for posting your house party's and events and discussions about party's you have attended. Next is the help area. If you have any type of site specific question this is the place to post it.

Question 7. - How come some people in the forums have stars next to thier name?
Answer. - This is a great question! in the beginning many many members contributed unselfishly to this site with no gimme gimme attitudes. They helped anyway they could and stuck with us since this site was nothing more than thought. These are the jewels of the lifestyle in our opinion and should be recognized for who they are - THE BEST! so if you have a chance to chat with one of these great people you should make every effort to do so.

Question 8. - What exactly is Karma?
Answer. - whew.. this is a loaded question and better left to the responses in the forums. Take a look. remember though, Karma follows you everywhere - so be nice.

Question 9. - How come (insert item here) doesnt work??
Answer. - We are new and in our growth stage. We are still learning to walk and sometimes we may tip over and fall flat on our a**es. We hope you can bare with us as we solve some issues related to a brand new site. If you do find a problem area please let me or a moderator know. Just use the adminictrative box on the lower right part of your main page. Select contact us and send us an email. as we grow things will settle down. FFP has some of the best features of ANY lifestyle site. With this cutting edge technology comes growing pains.

Question 10. - What makes Friends For Play any different than the other lifestyle/swinger sites?
Answer. - This is a question we got asked a lot early on. once we got rolling the answer became obvious to us and others. First and formost - YOU make the difference, not us. We are here to serve and help you, not the other way around - get it yet? I am old school when it comes to atttitude and appreciation. First we believe that without you there is no us. Again, not the other way around. We will ALWAYS strive to exceed your expectations and will never become complacent with the idea that your here. We too are swingers not some cold heartless corporation running a web site to become rich. We genuinely care what happens around here and within the lifestyle. We will do anything, within our abilities, to pay attention to all aspects of what goes on around here. In a nut shell, we appreciate the fact you chose FriendsForPlay.com as a part of your lifestyle entertainment.

Question 11. - What is "Mark as VIM" ?
Answer. - You see this when viewing profiles. VIM stands for very Important Member. If you click on the VIM button while viewing a profile you will be granting that member access to your exclusive photo's

Question 12. - How many photo's can I upload?
Answer. - your public gallery will hold 20 images. Your members only gallery will hold 40 and the exclusive gallery will hold 40 as well for a total of 100 photo's !!

Question 13. - How can I reduce the size of my images for faster uploading and downloading.
Answer. - This is an excellent question and one I am asked many times. I use a OLD program called LVIEWPRO. it's small, doesn't install itself, it just sits in a folder and works great. open the program. open your picture and save right away. I have noticed that this simple step alone will reduce most image sizes by at least HALF and sometimes more than 2/3'rds. You may also click on "edit" and resize the dimensions very easily also. Question 14. - What's a Bitch Barn and where can I find it?
Answer. - Seems every site we have been members of, as well as feedback we receive, seems to constantly be fighting drama and personal opinions in the forums. It becomes a full time job for admins and moderators to police the forums ensuring a pleasant place to visit. It is the opinion and policy of Friends For Play to encourange free exchange of ideas through thoughtful discussions between consenting adults. Therefore FFP's mods and admins do everything we can to NOT censor and or delete threads and or ideas. This CAN cause some drama between disagreeing members. So, we created the Bitch Barn. To access the Bitch Barn you'll need to add yourself to the group. The "Barn" is no longer a public thread. So if you want to view it head over to the forums and at the top of the page is a link titled "usergroups" click it and join the "Bitch Barn" Be sure and put on your cast iron panties first. the only thing moderated in there is threats, name calling and just plain meanness. Have Fun :D

Question 15. - Instant Messenger. I can't IM anyone - How does it work?
Answer. - You have to activate it before you can be reached through the FFP Instant Message system. Once activated your profile and search results will show that you are available for messeging. If you don't see an instant messege option in a members profile or search results, this means that member has not activated it and cannot be reached. To activate your FFP Instant Messeging system simply click on "Activate Instant messenger" icon at the top of your screen.

Question 16. - Can I put links, in our profile, to other sites we are emmbers of ?? Can I put links to other sites in the forums?
Answer. - SURE - with one exception. Please respect our house. I would ask that you do NOT link to other swingers site that would directly compete with Friends For Play. I hate using the word compete because we really do believe there is room for everyone in the lifestyle BUT. It does bring our point across. We work very hard to make this a fun and enjoyable place for you guys to hang out at. We sure would hate to lose you to a site that is not up to our standards and have others think we supported that other site by linking to it. So in a nut shell - Link to anything you feel appropriate except other membership type swinger sites.
